I’m Donovan Lough, a photographer and videographer based in Tampa, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Digital Media Production, I’ve channeled my passion into capturing raw energy in live music scenes, concert photography, and documentary storytelling.
My work blends technical skill with an eye for authentic moments. Whether I’m behind the camera for a high-energy concert or shaping a long-form documentary, I focus on telling genuine stories that resonate.
Alongside creative projects, I work as an A/V Technician at the University of South Florida. There I mentor students, run broadcast productions in professional studio environments, and keep my skills sharp across lighting, audio, and video workflows.
When I’m not creating, you’ll likely find me exploring local music venues or planning the next passion project.
The Man Behind The Crowbar is a self funded indie documentary focused on Tom DeGeorge and his venue the Crowbar as they prepare to close the doors after 20 long years. I am producing and directing this documentary, and working with local production house Good Co. with co-founders Christopher Ahrendt (producer) and Aren Rosales (director of photography).
