Three Torches was a revival of a legacy program originally produced by FSU’s Advanced Feature course for the local PBS affiliate in Tallahassee.
I served as producer, videographer, and primary editor, overseeing the project from pre-production through delivery while working within established broadcast standards and restrictions. This included adhering to formatting, content, and technical requirements consistent with public television workflows.
This project was produced as part of an Advanced Feature Production course and created in collaboration with a student from Advanced Feature Reporting.
The reporter pitched the story, secured interviews, and wrote the script, while I handled all production and post-production execution. My responsibilities included filming interviews and b-roll, capturing clean location audio, and editing the piece into its final form.
